The  UNI EN 471: 2008 "High visibility signaling clothing for professional use - Test methods and requirements" specifies the requirements for protective clothing capable of visually indicating the presence of the user, providing high visibility of the same in hazardous situations in any daylight conditions and in the light of vehicle headlights in the dark (including performance requirements relating to color, retroreflection, minimum areas and arrangement of materials, test methods for testing the effectiveness of materials and devices as a whole). This includes performance requirements for color and retro-reflection as well as the minimum areas available and the arrangement of materials in protective clothing.

The  EN 471 protects the safety and safety of operators exposed to risks and dangerous situations during work and in the various phases of work.
