the norm UNI EN 14804 "Providers of services connected with travel for language study - Requirements" specifies the minimum levels of quality of the service offered to students engaged abroad in the study of a foreign language with mother tongue teachers, and of related services such as hospitality, surveillance and recreational activities.
The EN 14804 it represents a valid tool for the organizers of study trips abroad, for students and their families who are now able to better evaluate the quality of the services offered to them.
A key element of the standard concerns the information that must be provided by the travel organizer in a clear, transparent and understandable way, in particular the standard distinguishes:
- Information before booking
- Information before departure
- Information upon arrival
